Matt Sperber is the Head of Corporate Development and Strategy at Raymond James Investment Management. Sperber, who joined the firm in 2018, leads the firm’s acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and financial planning. Prior to his current position, Sperber spent two years at Raymond James as an assistant to the chairman working on strategic projects for the company’s Executive Committee. Before joining Raymond James, Sperber was a Vice President on the investment team at GoldPoint Partners, a private equity firm managing fund investments, equity co-investments, and subordinated debt investments. He started his career at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank covering financial institutions. Sperber earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
