Carillon Tower Advisers Announces Addition of Chartwell Investment Partners

Chartwell becomes sixth boutique investment manager in Carillon family

St. Petersburg, FL – Carillon Tower Advisers (Carillon), a global, multi-boutique asset management firm, today announced the addition of Chartwell Investment Partners to its lineup.

Chartwell joins ClariVest Asset Management; Cougar Global Investments; Eagle Asset Management; Reams Asset Management (a division of Scout Investments); and Scout Investments as the sixth boutique investment manager in the Carillon family.

“We believe Chartwell will be a great fit in the Carillon culture,” said Bob Kendall, president of Carillon. “It is clear to us that Chartwell associates share our client-first philosophy and commitment to integrity and long-term thinking.

“We will be taking our time and working together with a broad coalition of vested parties to ensure a thoughtful partnership.”

Chartwell, founded in 1997, has approximately $11.2 billion under management in domestic equity and fixed income strategies available through a variety of investment vehicles. The firm will retain its brand under the Carillon umbrella.

The acquisition of Chartwell (previously owned by TriState Capital, which Carillon parent company Raymond James completed its purchase of today) has no impact on the structures of the five existing Carillon boutique investment managers nor on the relationships clients have with those firms.

Carillon and its boutique investment managers had $64 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2022.
